1. Football Pizza Pocket

This is a great recipe to get pizza a makeover. Traditional pizza look is over and try this modified look recipe to hype up the Super Bowl weekend!

Ingredients you need:

  • 1 Pack Pie crust or Pizza crust
  • Pizza sauce
  • Pepperoni
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 egg (beaten with a tablespoon of cold water)
  • Parchment paper

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 425F / 220C and lined a baking tray with a parchment paper.

2. Roll out a layer of pie crust or pie crust. Cut out circles using a round cookie cutter. Then, cut and form it into the shape of a football. The first one can be used as a template to get the shape for the rest of the pastry. You may re-roll the pastry and cut out as many pieces as you can.

3. Lay one football pastry cutout with a few of pepperoni slices, a piece of mozzarella cheese and a spread of pizza sauce on top.

4. Then cover it with another layer of pastry after brushing the sides with some egg wash.

5. Seal it using a fork by pressing it down gently on the edges to form lines on the sides and make slits on top of the pastry to look like the football laces.

6. Finally, brush the top of the pastry with egg wash.

7. Place all the pizza pockets on the baking tray. Then bake it for about 10-12 minutes or until the pizza pocket turns golden brown. You may serve it with a pizza sauce for dipping.

2. Football Deviled Eggs

Get the game on with these football deviled eggs. Who can ever think of this? Deviled eggs have been an all time favourite in a party or as an appetiser. So this recipe would be the best choice to bring to the party!

Ingredients you need:

  • 6 hard boiled eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • pinch of pepper
  • green onions

Instructions:

1. Fill a saucepan with cold water just enough to have all the 6 eggs covered. Boil it and remove from heat immediately. Let it stand for 15 minutes with the cover closed.

2. After 15 minutes, drain the hot water and transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water or just cool them by running them under cold water.

3. Once the eggs are completely cooled, peel and cut them in half. Remove the egg yolk and place them in a bowl. While the egg white is placed nicely on a serving tray.

4. Now it is time to prepare the fillings. Mix together the mayonnaise, dried mustard, lemon juice, salt and pepper into the yolk.

5. Make sure all the ingredients are mixed well. Then, spoon about 1 tablespoon of the filling into each egg white.

6. Finally, add thinly sliced green onion on the yolk filling. Arranging them to resemble the football laces. Refrigerate the deviled eggs until serving.

And voila, your heavenly deviled eggs are ready to be served!

 

3. Football Rice Krispie Treats

A party would definitely need a sweet treat to satisfy everyone’s palates. Here is one simple and easy recipe which will make everyone snatch for it. Leaving the bowl empty within seconds!

Ingredients you need:

  • 4 cups Cocoa flavoured Rice Krispy Cereal
  • 4 cups mini-marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • vanilla frosting

Instructions:

1. Firstly, heat the butter until it melts in a large pot over a medium heat. Add in the mini marshmallows and heat it until melted and giving a smooth texture. Be careful not to overheat and burn the mixture!

2. Once the mixture has melted, add the Krispy cereal and mix well.

3. Leave it cool for about 1.5 hours.

4. Place a sheet of parchment paper on the table. Scoop a handful of the mixture and roll it into a compact ball slightly bigger than a golf ball size. Then press it flat on the parchment paper and form it into a football shape.

5. Let it cool again. After that, add frosting to the Kripy cereal using a small icing tip. Add details and draw resembling the lace and the design of a football. And..you are done!

4. Super Bread Bowl Football Dip

Ingredients you need:

Bread Bowl

  • 3 tubes of dough
  • Toothpicks
  • 1 Egg (beaten)

Spinach Artichoke Dip

  • 1 bunch kale, leaves stripped and chopped
  • 2 15-oz. cans artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 8-oz. block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded white Cheddar
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 c. ricotta
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Bread or crackers, for serving

You may substitute it with other dip recipes but spinach artichoke dip is aweeesommeee!

Instructions:

Spinach Artichoke Dip

1. Preheat the oven at 350F/ 177C. Blanch kale in a large pot of boiling water. Once the water is drained, use a paper towel and pat gently to dry.

2. Prepare a large mixing bowl. Add the kale, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, cheddar, Parmesan and garlic. Then, add salt and pepper generously.

3. Mix well and transfer dip into the bread bowl which you will prepare soon.

1. Firstly, line a parchment sheet on a baking tray. Roll out one of the tubes on the sheet.

2. Take out the other two tubes and arrange them into a football shape.

3. Use a toothpick to pin the sides. Pin both left and right end of the tubes.

4. Then, trim the excess of the dough and don’t throw them yet. Cut it into lines as football laces.

5. Brush some egg wash on the bread dough.

6. Finally, bake it at 350 F/ 177C in the oven until it turns slightly golden. Fill the centre with the dip, then continue baking it until it is golden brown and the dip is bubbly.

Tadaaa the bread bowl is out hot from the oven and ready to be served!

 

5. Macaroni and Cheese Cupcakes

Mac and cheese lovers out there! Here is one for you! Prepare something cheesy is exactly what you need for this Super Bowl weekend. Not to have it too cheesy? Serve it in cupcakes size. Ease in serving as well as helping in estimating the number of guests you are preparing for.

Ingredients you need:

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, plus a little more for garnish
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper

 

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 4–F/ 200C. Prepare a muffin pan filled with 12 muffin papers.

2. Cook the macaroni until it is done. Drain it and leave it in the pot.

3. Add cheese and mix it gently until all the cheese is almost melting.

4. Add the eggs into the milk and beat it. Pour the mixture into the pot of macaroni and mix well.

5. Scoop the macaroni into the muffin cups using a ladle. Bake for 20 minutes.

6. After baking, let it cool before serving.
