Summer is just ahead us and I think it is a great time for me to share with you the 10 picturesque islands in Asia which I can’t take our eyes off! Before I jump straight to the topic, there is one thing you should know about me, I am 100% without a doubt, a beach person! I am perfectly delighted to just lounge around a beautiful beach and enjoy sun kissed skin, the sea breeze and crystal clear turquoise blue sea waters and powder white sand. Without further ado, here are the top 10 beautiful islands in southeast Asia which I adore! If you’re heading to Asia, make sure you don’t miss this bucket list!

1. Koh Lipe, Thailand

Koh Lipe which is dubbed as the Maldives of Thailand is one of the smallest islands in Asia. With its powder white sand beaches, crystal clear blue waters, and 25% of the world’s tropical beach species, Koh Lipe is definitely worth visiting and a perfect diving and snorkelling spot! With three large beaches in the shape of boomerang, you can easily stroll around the whole island in an hour. Besides, it is considered a remote and hidden treasure, so if you enjoy quite and peaceful vibe, definitely pay a visit to Koh Lipe!

7. Koh Nang Yuan

Its is definitely a perfect place for tranquility and unwind from the hectic life.

Pulau Perhentian, which is situated off the coast of northeastern Malaysia not far from the Thai border is one of the must-visit island in Malaysia! There are two main islands which are Perhentian Besar (big island) and Perhentian Kecil (small island). They have some of Malaysia’s most beautiful beaches and great diving with plenty of cheap accommodation. Travellers can also explore the tropical jungle that covers much of the islands’ terrain.

P.S. Perhentian Kecil is more popular among budget travellers since it’s cheaper compared to Perhentian Besar which is a little pricey as it offers more luxury accommodations.

9. Palawan, The Philippines

Palawan, an island in the Philippines is a home to lush green jungles, and pristine beaches, such as El Nido and Coron, attracts intrepid travellers and nature lovers. El Nido is known to have one of the most breathtaking seascapes worldwide. From limestone karst, to crystal clear waters ideal for diving and snorkelling and white sand beaches, it has it all. Stunning Coron is well known for wreck diving as numerous Japanese warships were sunk in the area.

10. Raja Ampat, Indonesia

Experienced divers can also enjoy the thrills of drift diving, and explore underwater vertical walls.
