Materials:

  • Clear phone cases
  • Gold leaf
  • Gilding cream
  • 2 Paint brushes
  • Acrylic paint
  • Mod podge

 Instruction:

  1. First, draw out the design you would want your phone case to be, then paint the design out inside the clear phone case using gilding cream.
  2. Once you’ve done drawing the design, wait for the cream to set for 15 minutes.
  3. Then, grab a piece of gold leaf and gently place onto the places where you’ve applied gilding cream. Do not use your finger to dab the gold leaf as you will leave finger prints on it.  Use a clean paint brush to gently brush off the excess gold leaf away.
  4. Now that the gold leaf has completely stayed on the gilding cream, paint the rest of the empty spaces with your preferred color using acrylic paint.
  5. Lastly, apply a layer of mod podge to the inside of the phone case to help secure the gold leaf and the paint. That’s it! Easy and fun!
