Ingredients (2 servings)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk, smoothie of choice), add more if needed
- 1/2 to 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cups (10 1/2 ounces) frozen strawberries
- 2 frozen sliced bananas
- 4 tablespoons acai powder
- 2 tablespoons of nut, seed butter or almond
Toppings (2 servings)
- Fresh fruits in slices ( I used bananas, strawberries, raspberries)
- Bee pollen
- Clear, runny honey
- Granola (optional)
- Almond flakes (optional)
- Dried goji berries (optional)
- Chia or hemp seeds (optional)
First and foremost, run Acai pack under warm water and break them into chunk.
Then, add the ingredients such as frozen fruits, acai powder, almond milk, nut or seed butter, and honey to a blender. Make sure you select “frozen yogurt or ice-cream” option or blend it until it gives you that creamy and smooth texture. You have to play with consistency, it should be thicker than a smoothie, but thinner than ice-cream.
P.S. Always remember to add extra almond milk to get the blender running.
When you’ve finished blending the ingredients, spoon the acai mixture into bowls and top it with the sliced fruits, bee pollens, a drizzle of honey, and other optional toppings (if using).
