Today,
We thought of sharing some useful tips on “How To Wear For An Interview” for those who will be job hunting soon.
Whether you’re graduating from college this Spring or an industry veteran that ready to make a career move,
It’s time to get serious about your interview attire.
Okay, lets get real, wearing the right interview outfit will not guarantee you the job you’ve been dreamed of!
What you say and do in the interview will ultimately determine your fate.
BUT
The first impression is always very important!
From the minute you step into the room and ready to shake hands with your future boss, they will immediately form an impression regardless it is positive or negative based on your appearance.
So dressing can be a huge challenge.
-> Keep It Simple and Sleek
-> Confidence Is The Key
-> Smiling Is Never An Option 🙂
-> Shoes, They Matter ! A Closed Toe Mid Heel Is Always The Safest Option!!!
-> Jeans? NOOOOOO ! Unless It Is For A Creative Job: Advertising, Fashion… BUT Still they must be THE perfect one and worn with a white button-down shirt
-> You need not stick to SUITS or ALL BLACK outfits only.
-> No more than three colours – including your handbag and accessories! (You do not want to look like a Christmas tree, don’t you!)
-> Never OVER accessorise! If you opt for necklace then no earrings. Not both at once!
Since now is Spring and Summer is soon to be arrived!
Instead of sticking to an all black outfit, bright colours can also make you look professional and cheerful at the same time.
All you need to do is make the right pairing decision.
Pair your white and yellow dress with a pair of gradient yellow suede pumps.
Then carry s black handbag so you can put in your CVs and do not end up cramp them up.
To finish this look, wear a pair of simple and exquisite gold infinite earrings.
P.S If you are afraid of messing up your outfit a knee-length dress can never be wrong.
For the second outfit, I opt for a sleeveless nude dress with a black skinny belt attached on it so you won’t end up look like a girl without figure.
Since it is sleeveless, I will pair it with a white blazer to show more professional.
Then wear a pair of matching colour pointed pumps.
To complete this look carry a black handbag and wear a pair of delicate gold earrings.
This is the third option for those who prefer dress.
If you feel confident in black, go ahead!
Choose a black A line dress, and add a statement necklace on it.
This will definitely make your outfit stands out without being overboard.
Then layer your dress with a slim fit blazer.
For shoes, go for a pair of black pumps.
Finish your look by carrying a handbag.
If you like colours but afraid of wearing it wrongly.
Pick this black long sleeve dress which has some design around the skirt.
Then wear it with a black suede pumps.
Complete your look with a classic black watch and a black handbag.
Apart from dresses, two piece is also another option you can try.
Wear a black chiffon blouse with a red pencil skirt. Dont forget to put a belt on!
For shoes, opt for a pair of black heels since you already wear a red skirt. Let the red skirt be the highlight of your outfit.
To complete this look carry a black leather handbag with some tassel details.
For those who prefer pants more than skirt or dress.
This is an ideal outfit you can go for!
Opt a black chiffon tank top and match it with a pair of black slacks.
Kindly reminder : NO LEGGINGS !!!
Then layer the outfit with a brown blazer to show more respect to the interviewer and professional norms.
For shoes, a pair of nude high heels will be the perfect choice.
Finish your look with a black handbag. The scarf on the handbag will beautify your overall.
For this look, pick a white lace top and pair it with a grey high waist skirt.
One thing I love about this top is the waist line design. It will give you the hourglass figure!
Then instead of going an all black bag, pick a burgundy handbag.
Then finish your look with a pair of grey suede pumps with a metal decor.
This look will be perfect for monochrome lovers out there.
Pair a two-piece suit sweater with a pair of black slacks.
Then end this look by carrying black and white handbag and a pair of black pumps.
You are now READY to nail your interview!!!
For this look, I will pick a long sleeve peplum top and wear it with a high waist pencil skirt.
I think peplum top really goes well with pencil skirt so for those who are afraid of wearing the wrong outfit, these two can never go wrong!
Then carry a black tote bag to put in all your interview required documents.
Finish your look with a pair of nude heels.
For the last outfit, I will go for a basic white all button down shirt with a pair of slacks.
Then layer it with a sleeveless waist coat.
To complete this look, carry a cream tote bag and slip into a pair of black pumps !
Thats All For Today.
We wish you all the best for your interview !
